What's happenin' everyone?! So nothing too much going on, just working on another round of self edits for my Viking Hunter, name still pending, of course. while waiting for my beta's to finish another one to get that published. Other than that, life is still going on and not much has changed aside from just trying to write as often as I can. It's fun. I really enjoy re-reading my stories because I'm never quite sure how goof they'll be and I feel like they're very subpar sometime, yet whenever I re-read them, I'm always shocked by how good of a story that are. What's happenin' everyone! So, getting some more BETA readers for my next big book push, hopefully I can have it done by the date. Honestly though, I don't know, it's august and my goal is the end of October. I just put it off a bit too long. I've entered into a fun little competition called writing battle and it'll be my second time entering. I made it halfway through the competition so I'm hopeful to make a bit farther this time. What's happenin' everyone? So, today I'm married 7 years! It's awesome. To think so many years ago, my life was in complete chaos as I'd just gone through a rough divorce and then 18 months later, I meet an amazing woman with an amazing family that has become my best friend. Now we've got four kids and are thriving. Talk about change! I just wanted to say this week, I discovered two other self-published authors, one of the authors had actually seen my book somewhere ha ha! I met another person who had also seen my book somewhere as well :) I love that! Life is good. God is good. I was also in another amazing podcast with Hunter and the host, JR Handly, so keep a look out for that. It was a fun discussion about what is YA and some of the tropes in them, as well as some other goofy, all around fun stuff. Thank you all for your support, couldn't do it without you amazing friends. What's happenin' everyone? I hope everyone had a great fourth of July! It's amazing to see the wonderful blessings we still have even with everything going on in this country, It'll never be as bad as it was. I know it's breaking habit to post on a monday, but I just felt like I should. Things are overall very good, I'm a little unsure about where to go with my writing, I've started on another book, but I also feel I should start publishing something again, it's been a while and halloween is approaching. so my supernatural book should be next, but I'm just making some things clearer through some beta's first. What's happenin' everyone? Sorry I have some bad habits and I haven't posted in a while. I've realized that I am writing my fifth book! I have two written but still unpublished but it's cool to think that I've written four books! Currently, I'm writing that's semi-viking setting if like monster hunter and the witcher came together, (at least that's the general vibe.) I really sruggled with it for sometime, but now things are going SUPER GREAT! and I'm seeing a lot of cool things happen. Honestly that's my favorite part about writing stories; eventually they just come to life taking all kinds of twists and turns. I just wanna thank you all for supporting me in my journey. What's happenin' everyone? So, I decided I'd start acting like a more popular author and try to keep going on this weekly blog. There's just not much to say sometimes ha ha. I think one of things that I struggle with is writing relationships. Which is ironic because I've been married for seven years now in July. It's just something I have to do more of, I know if I work at it I'll get there. I just love action way too much. Also. I really like making up religions and some of the rules there for my books It's a lot of fun. I guess does anyone have any ideas for how to write better romance? maybe more mature ways to lead into a relationship? I would love to have some ideas. So, for me, book two is with my wonderful editor as we speak!!! and I'm continuing on book three :) I was just thinking about how the Lost Prince started out as a whim while listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. I wrote it to the soundtrack and let the music literally drive the story. Ten years later, I found about four notebooks and realized not only that I had a pretty decent story, but also that it was 95% done! I've changed a lot, but kept some things stayed the same. Then, of course, once I embraced my imagination and let it flow, I had many other idea come to me and now it's been another way to make some money. For me, the biggest set back was my confidence. It's been awesome to see how many people enjoy my story and it really motivates me to keep going! That's all.
